One of the books I've read over the summer was One Summer by David Baldacci. It is about a man named Jack, whom is very sick and living in the hospital, hoping to get better for Christmas. He was expected to have a few days left in his life, and he tries to spend time with his wife Lizzie, and three kids and say goodbye to them. While trying to recover, a very tragic incident happens and the kids are separated between their grandparents. Miraculously Jack recover, and people all call him the "Miracle Man," while trying to get his family back together and live a life Jack didn't think he would ever live again. Overall this is a really good book, and I highly recommend it, although it has a few mature topics. This book has a little bit of romance, but a lot of action and some drama, and it is a times sad. I think this is a pretty realistic-fiction book, and it's a pretty quick read.
